Bathgate Volunteer Procedures

Thank you for Volunteering at Bathgate!

Volunteers play a tremendous role in the supervision of students during classroom activities.  We would like to remind all volunteers that you need to sign in each and every time you come to school and get a Green Tier I badge or a Yellow Tier II volunteer sticker.

For those of you that have been fingerprinted and approved by the Capistrano Unified School District you are a Tier I volunteer.  If you were not fingerprinted, you will need to fill out a Tier II volunteer form if you have not already.  We have these forms in the front office.

Please support our efforts to keep our students and staff safe by following these steps:

Tier 1 volunteers are allowed to be with students in an unsupervised setting, in a pod, away from the teacher or school staff, and be allowed to go on field tripsIf you are a Tier I volunteer you will:

  1. Come into the office, sign in and get your Green badge.
  2. When you have finished volunteering, you will come back to the office sign out and leave your badge in the alphabetical file for your next visit.

If you were fingerprinted for Tier I a couple of years ago and have misplaced your badge, we will get you another one.  Please know that the Blue Badges that were distributed several years ago are no longer valid and should be turned into the office.

Tier II volunteers are allowed to volunteer in a supervised setting in the classroom, front office/copy volunteers, and committee volunteers. If you are a Tier II volunteer you will:

   1. Come into the office, sign in and get your Yellow sticker.

   2. When you have finished volunteering, you will come back to the office sign out.
